Cal Pacific Constructors, Inc. (CPCI) successfully installed the first Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for the City of Lynwood Public Works on behalf of So Cal Edison’s Electric Vehicle Charging Station “Charge Ready” program. The 3 dual port Charging Stations, for a total of 6 charge ports, will provide electricity for the City of Lynwood’s fleet vehicles.
For this project, CPCI provided general and electrical construction services including design management, all electrical work, site work, equipment handling, and related site improvements. To meet this project’s critical requirements, CPCI worked closely with Edison’s Transportation Electrification team and the Blair Church & Flynn Design team.
“Thank you for your partnership, collaboration, and support of SCE’s Charge Ready Program. Please pass on our sincere thanks to your teams. Congratulations to everyone involved in achieving this milestone of completing design and construction for the first site!”
The Cal Pacific team currently has other sites under construction and looks forward to supporting Edison on the first large-scale EV Charging Station program in Southern California.
About Edison’s Charge Ready Program
The “Charge Ready” program will help move California closer to its objective of putting 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2025, which will in turn support the state’s goal to reduce greenhouse gases and meet deadlines for federal clean air standards.
