Cal Pacific Constructors Inc. (CPCI) completed its 35th Electric Vehicle Charging Station Project under Edison’s Charge Ready Program. This represents a total of 538 charging ports, with more than 50 more projects in the pipeline. The completed projects represent various types of EV charging stations including standard, standard-accessible, and van-accessible. Sites include company headquarters (workplaces), Multiple Unit Dwellings (timeshare residences), entertainment venues (Casinos, Convention Centers, Sports Arenas, Golf Courses), educational facilities, medical facilities, shopping centers, public transportation sites (bus, metrolink), public/municipal sites, and parking structures.

For the EV projects, Cal Pacific Constructors provided equipment procurement, construction services (concrete, earthwork, site work), and supervised electrical tasks, equipment installation, and third party inspections, along with the execution of site-specific Safety Plans and Waste Management Plans.

The following project examples are selected from CPCI’s current EV Charge Ready project portfolio:

About Edison’s Charge Ready Program
The “Charge Ready” program will help move California closer to its objective of putting
1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on the road by 2025, which will in turn support the state’s goal to reduce greenhouse gases and meet deadlines for federal clean air standards.
